Als 16jähriger Teenager auf dem Land bei Lüneburg gab es in den 90er Jahren kaum eine Chance, an Informationen über schwules Leben zu gelangen, geschweige denn an Kontakte zu schwulen Männern. Über eine Hotline geriet ich aber dann doch an einen 20 Jahre älteren Mann aus Hamburg. Wir trafen uns am Hauptbahnhof und er nahm mich mit in seine Wohnung, wo ich meinen ersten Sex hatte. Zwar leider keine wirklich schöne Erfahrung, aber zweifellos eine prägende.

But finally, thanks to a hotline, I came to know a man twenty years my elder who lived in Hamburg. We met at the central train station and he took me to his place. There I had my first sex. Unfortunately, not a really good experience but a formative one nonetheless.
