I am Carsten Bruhn, born 1965, teacher and photographer (often in reverse order).As a photographer amateur and self-taught. Hobby, but still pursued and pursued with the same energy and passion as my profession. I see everything through the lens, with or without a camera.

In recent years, I have become increasingly enthusiastic about people photography, the portrait, the representation of being human, the (often all too) human. Sometimes posed and staged, sometimes natural and spontaneous. Often, but not always, queer and diverse. Always committed to the human being, full of respect and affection in the representation.

Sehr kompetenter Fotograf mit kreativen Fotoideen und ausdrucksstarken Bildern . Dazu ein sympathischer Typ. Es macht viel Spaß mit ihm zusammen zu arbeiten, immer tolle Shootings.

Working with Carsten was easy and a joy with great results, as he approached the photo shoot very professionally! The time and place were chosen in advance. A lot of ideas were on his part, but Carsten was also open to new suggestions from my side! In a word, for me working with him was in tandem! I recommend doing a photo shoot with Carsten! You will love the result!

Wir haben mittlerweile vier Fotoshootings miteinander gemacht, auch eines für das Projekt "Not the Only Gay in the City". Ich mochte mich früher auf Fotos nicht leiden. Carsten schafft es jedoch immer wieder, mich so mit seiner Kamera einzufangen, dass ich mir selbst gefalle. Ich vertraue ihm blind und kann Carsten als Fotografen nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Der Spaßfaktor im Berliner Mietstudio in den unetrschiedlichsten Settings war absolut genial mit tollen Ergebnissen. Vielen Dank dafür und gern jederzeit wieder.

Carsten leitet einen entspannt durch die Photoshoots & so kommen entsprechend tolle Bilder heraus. Nachfragen, zusammen beraten, über Motive & Positionen & spätere Auswahl der zu veröffentlichten Bilder: Bei allem hat Carsten mich einbezogen, sofern es machbar war.
